Bookings are accepted as a contract between Susan Elton trading as Carvoeiro Villa Holidays and the person named on the booking form (Client), who accepts responsibility for the conduct of everyone travelling under this booking. A DEPOSIT of £100-00/€150 for townhouses/apartments, and £ 300/€ 500 for villas is payable with each booking which is non-refundable unless the accommodation can be re-let.
Your booking is accepted from the date that appears on your invoice, and English law applies to this contract.
The balance of the invoice is to be paid no later than eight weeks prior to your arrival date. Any bookings where payment is not received 8 weeks prior to arrival will be treated as cancelled.
Late bookings (less than 8 weeks prior to arrival) require immediate full payment.
If, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, this property becomes unavailable another similar property will be offered in its place.
Properties will normally be available after 4pm on date of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on date of departure. Please contact us should these times prove difficult and we will do our best to help.
Please ensure you have the correct travel documents e.g. passport, tickets, and adequate travel insurance (including cancellation) to cover the period of your holiday. Please note that your personal safety in the property and surrounding areas is your own responsibility.
A breakage deposit of £150/€225 will be levied for two bedroom properties or £300/€450 for three or more bedroom properties, and is due with the final payment to cover any damages or breakages which may occur during your stay. After your departure the property will be inspected and provided it is left in an acceptable condition, the deposit will be posted to you within 14 days of your departure.
Please report to Management any problems or complaints about the property whilst you are in the resort. They will endeavour to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. If you decide to vacate the property or take any other actions without contacting Management, and allowing reasonable time for the problem to be rectified, all claims for compensation or refund will be forfeited. Any problems or complaints not notified during your stay cannot be considered.
Please ensure that the number in your party matches the details on your booking form. If you need to make any amendments please let us know as soon as possible. If the property is occupied by more than the agreed number, the breakage deposit will be forfeited in full.
No animals allowed, except by prior arrangement.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for environmental noise, such as traffic or barking dogs. We cannot be held responsible for any lack of electricity or water supplies, or any similar facility which is beyond our control.
The rental client is responsible for treating the villa with care and to report all damages caused by him to Carvoeiro Villa Management. The resulting costs will be charged on behalf of the house owner to the rental client.
Carvoeiro Villa Holidays may cancel the rental contract on valid grounds (i.e. force majeur). In this case refund of the payments made will be done. Further claims are excluded. It is hereby understood that in the area of Carvoeiro shortages of water or electricity cuts happen. We cannot be held liable for those events. All villas are completely furnished and equipped. Included in the rental price is:
- maid service (hours differ per house). - normal costs for electricity, gas (unless these are used in house heating) and water.
- laundry (no beach towels). Change of bed linen once a week, towels twice a week. The villa may be occupied as of 14.00 h on arrival day, on departure day check-out time is 10.00h.
Exceptions to this agreement will require written confirmation.
