This attractive 4 bedroomed villa is ideally situated on the peaceful outskirts of Carvoeiro, but within walking distance of an array of restaurants, bars and cafés. It has a large private pool, with surrounding terrace, or if you prefer to feel the sand between your toes Centianes Beach is just a short walk away.

Accommodation

Villa Raposos is peacefully located in the countryside, but within a few minutes walking distance of the Rocha Brava complex, on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. The many shops, restaurants and bars of Carvoeiro are within walking distance, as is the beach at Vale Centianes.

This beautifully maintained house offers a piece of home from home. The large airy lounge is comfortably furnished with 3 sofas, Sky Free-to-air TV and attractive open fireplace, and has patio doors opening onto the terrace and large private swimming pool.

The spacious kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with oven, hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster - everything you need!

There are 4 bedrooms; 2 large double bedrooms and 2 large twin bedrooms, all with wardrobes. The Master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, and there is a further shower room, plus family bathroom to serve the remaining 3 bedrooms.

Car hire, which we can arrange if required, is recommended but not essential. Alternatively we can arrange transfers for you and your party from Faro Airport direct to the accommodation. Price available upon request.

Living Rooms	Comfortably furnished lounge with three sofas, a log burning fire, and Sky Free-to-air TV. Patio doors lead to covered pool terrace with table and chairs, and magnificent views.
Kitchen	Fully fitted kitchen with oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc.
Bedrooms	4 bedrooms consisting of 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, all with wardrobes. Cot is available.
Bathrooms	En-suite shower room to Master Bedroom, 1 Family bathroom, and further shower room on the first floor.
Utility Room	Drying area, drying rack, ironing board/iron.
Other	The villa has a large pool terrace with sun loungers and outside shower.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service	All bed linen and towels are provided and will be changed on a regular basis. Maid service is included.

Outside

Lush tropical gardens surround the property, and the large inviting swimming pool is surrounded by a traditionally tiled terrace providing the perfect lounging and sunbathing area. For those who prefer the shade there is a large covered terrace area with table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining during the heat of the day. The upstairs terrace has a superb view of the atlantic, and the lighthouse at Alfanzina.

Coast/Beach

There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Centianes, within 5 minutes drive are the stunning Praia de Marina, Benagil, Caravalho, Carvoeiro and Albandera. The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Golf

Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Location

Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places.

A short walk from this property is the bustling town of Carvoeiro with a fabulous selection of restaurants and bars (English babysitter available), and a choice of beautiful beaches and fabulous clifftop walks. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines, and three golf courses are within 5 minutes drive.The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.

Visit Monchique mountain or the reservoir for stunning scenery and restaurants, where you can eat a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for under €10!

Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within 10 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 20 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre also 20 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants as well.

Our friendly English speaking staff are on hand to welcome you, assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit.

As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We meet and greet you, and provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa.

Should you arrive after 9 pm we leave a food pack (milk, tea bags, butter, bread, water) for you. Baby cot and high chair are provided by prior arrangement. We also have reliable English babysitters who will care for your children during the daytime or evening if you should require some time without the kids! Please ask for details.

Had a superb holiday with self, wife, 2 children and 1 granddaughter at this lovely spacious villa in june for our family. Weather fabulous. Lovely pool which we used daily and useful BBQ. In fact we had all our meals outside on the shaded terrace. Perfect! We will be going back. Well equipped villa and handy for the local minimarket, although we drove mostly to the Intermarche, 10 minutes away. We all love peace and quiet and this location hit the spot 100%. Lovely beach nearby with easy parking. Regular villa cleaning done thoroughly, and also the pool, which was just as it should be and great temperature as the ambient was 27-32 degrees during our visit, so a cool dip was very welcome. Roll on next year, if I can wait that long ! Many thanks to Susie who came to make sure everything was OK. Thanks for the directions without which we would still be driving about!

We arrived in Faro very late on the Monday night, Susie (the agent) provided a mobile number to contact just in case, but the great instructions she provided meant that we arrived with the minimal of fuss. The location was great, not too near the neighbours, yet close enough to get to the local town and stunning nearby beaches. The villa was just as described on the website, well equipped and very comfortable. We used the lovely deep pool every day- as we went in Spring it was a little chilly, but that didn't stop the children enjoying it. The maid, Magdalena came to clean twice in a week and she was lovely. All in all brilliant relaxing week in a beautuful location, we would definitely go back.

We really liked the Villa and enjoyed our holidays there. We will be in contact in the future. Thank you for your time.

We can offer a fabulous welcome Food Pack on request.

Please enquire regarding any length of stay we can offer. In the Winter period, we offer special prices for long term stays. Lower rates for small groups by negotiation.

All bookings between 01 November and 31 March are subject to an additional charge for electricity.

Changeover day

Flexible. Check in time is 2pm / Check out time is 10am.

Booking notes

A holding deposit of £250 (non-refundable) is required to reserve your booking. The balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure. A security deposit of £300 (fully-refundable) is required, pre-paid for any breakages or damage, which shall be returned on your return from holiday providing no damage has occurred.
