Accommodation
Approximately 20 minutes walking distance, or 5 mins by car from the lively little fishing town of Carvoeiro, Clube Golfe Mar is the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve, with local bars, restaurants, tennis courts, supermarkets and beaches only minutes away. The resort also has it's own Lighthouse Restaurant.
This superbly appointed villa is situated in a tranquil position. Vale do Milho Golf Course is within throwing distance! It is the perfect spot for your family to relax and forget about the worries of the world.
The house is immaculate throughout, with quality decor and furnishings. The living areas, kitchen, a twin and double bedroom and Family shower room with WC are at entrance level, with a further 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs.
The open plan Lounge Dining room has comfy sofa and armchairs, a large flat-screen smart TV, a selection of reading books, enclosed log burning fireplace, and air conditioning. Sliding patio doors leading to covered a terrace and private garden.
There is a fully fitted and extremely well-equipped kitchen with modern units and tiled walls, stainless steel sink unit and drainer, oven, hob and extractor unit, washing machine, integrated dish washer and fridge freezer, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, and kettle. From the kitchen there is access to a small courtyard area, ideal for drying laundry, and stairs to the spacious roof terrace.
There is a built-in sound system – plug in your iPod and listen throughout the house – including in the bathrooms! Each room has its own volume control and on/off switch.
The villa also has the luxury of electric shutters throughout which can be controlled individually by a button next to each window, or all shutters can be opened by a master switch inside front door.
Free Wi-fi is provided, via fast cable broadband internet.
All 4 bedrooms are air conditioned with fitted wardrobes, and in addition to 3 en suite bathrooms the villa also has a Family Shower room.
The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.
Also, please note that charcoal for the Barbecue is not provided, but you can buy in all local supermarkets.
Car hire is recommended but not essential. For those not wishing to drive, we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation.
Please note there is NO FREE POOL available. There is an independently owned pool on the complex that Clube Golfemar guests may use, subject to the following conditions:
-Pool opening hours from 9am to 8pm;
-Any person(s) wishing to sun bathe in the pool area using the sun beds is required to pay 5,00€ per person per day;
-The cost of each sun bed will be reimbursed for every 20,00€ spent in the pool bar or restaurant;
-Anyone choosing not to use the sun beds provided and, instead, lay on the grass must do so in the designated area provided;
-It’s not permitted for any person(s) to bring sun beds or other furniture into the pool area;
-No food and drink can be consumed on these premises unless purchased from the Lighthouse Restaurant. Only small snacks, biscuits and fruit will be permitted for young children;
-The swimming pool may be closed on Sundays (BBQ day of the restaurant);

Ensuite bathroom to Bedroom 2 has a bath with shower over, vanity wash basin unit with mirror above, WC and heated towel rail. Ensuite bathroom to Bedroom 3 has shower over bath, vanity wash basin unit with mirror above, WC and heated towel rail. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in rental costs. These are changed twice a week when the villa is cleaned. Maid service included.

There is a covered terrace with breakfast table and chairs, and a large lawned garden surrounded by mature shrubs and trees. The barbecue area with a brick-built gas barbecue with tiled surround and cupboards beneath is the perfect place to enjoy alfresco dining, with a large outside dining table with seating for 8 people, plus outside lighting. From the garden there are great views across the Vale do Milho Golf Course. The onsite communal pool is just a short walk away.
In secluded corner of the private garden is a fabulous Hot tub, perfect for relaxing day or night the Algarve sky is littered with stars and what better way to look at them than from the warmth of a bubbling Hot Tub! *Use of the Hot Tub needs to be by prior arrangement in order to heat the water, and there is a small additional charge.
There is also a terrace on the roof with superb sea views, a table and chairs and outside lighting, ideal for secluded sun bathing, or to watch the sun go down.
There is ample car parking to the front of the property.
There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Centianes, which is 10 minutes walk away, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho and Albandeira. Carvoeiro beach is approx. 25 minutes walk.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.
The Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is on the doorstep, just metres away. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes drive away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.
Carvoeiro has an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. There are many banks and cash withdrawal machines. Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within 10 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 20 minutes drive. The Algarve Shopping Centre also 20 minutes drive with its great High Street shops and restaurants as well.

As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa.

Aug 2022 Casa Isabel is a spacious, well presented villa within a lovely location. We were a family of 5 + 2 friends. It housed 7 very comfortably. Clean and tidy throughout with spacious rooms. The garden is private with a great bbq area, and several seating/table options. The roof terrace is a bonus comprising lovely comfortable seating with stunning views out to the sea.
Our only slight gripe was that the mattresses in the bedrooms are really firm (which may suit some). And restricted to 1 pillow each. Other than this, a perfect venue and a fabulous holiday location. Recommend a car for getting out and about too. Would definately recommend this villa to family and friends.

June 2022 Great host, the communication was great and whenever we needed anything Susie answered very quickly. Lovely place, quite neighbourhood. Villa was a great space and homely. The kitchan is well equipped. Loved the outside area with the hot tube! Everyone locally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you Susie .
APRIL 2022. Everything was perfect during our stay ! The house is really well located (close to beaches and shops by car, close to touristic things to do in Algarve), spacious, with 4 big bedrooms a bathroom for each ! You have everything you can need in the house (kitchen well furnished, tv, books, beach game for kids…). We came with a baby of 2 y.o. and didn’t had any problem with the stairs. The hot tub is really a plus, really nice to relax !
The villa was as advertised well and even better than the pictures showed, with a nice communal pool. Beautiful rooftop terrace with ocean views. Very fast and helpful communication with the host. We really enjoyed our stay here (Family of 5). A (rental) car is recommended though.
Very clean, beautiful and comfortable house. We enjoy it a lot. Great area and friendly neighbourhood. Perfect for family, but also group of friends (as we). Not far away from paradise beaches.

EN: A beautiful place. The House is very well designed to take advantage of the garden, the environment is in a very nice residential location. A nice corner of calm and greenery, it makes for a very good holiday. You can walk to the beach in just 15 minutes.
EN: Super villa from the front to back: This holiday villa with 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms are located in the lower ground floor, which results in a spatial division which is sometimes helpful in families and they are at ground level with sliding doors to outside. Total space, a beautiful little garden, a great Whirlpool (book separately for a fee) and a fantastic barbecue with warmer BBQ grill. There are two terraces each with a table (one of them in the shade). The communal pool is large and it's actually never very crowded, you get always a lounger (at least early September). Close to everything, it is what you need, a small market of the neighbouring community, great restaurants, some nice beaches (which can sometimes be full) and Carvoeiro is also very close, if you want to have more hustle and bustle. There is so much to do and the House is perfect. We can recommend it, the care by Susie of the management was also super. Thumbs up! We will come back.
DE: Von vorne bis hinten super: dieses Ferienhaeuschen mit 4 Zimmern. 2 Zimmer befinden sich zwar im Untergeschoss/Keller, aber dadurch ergibt sich auch eine raeumliche Teilung die manchmal bei Familien hilfreich ist und nach hinten ist das Untergeschoss ebenerdig und man hat eine Schiebetuer nach draussen. Insgesamt viel Platz, ein schoener kleiner Garten, ein toller Whirlpool (Nutzung gegen Gebuehr zubuchbar) und eine fantastische Grillecke, mit gasbetriebenem BBQ Grill. Dazu gibt es zwei Terrassen mit jeweils einem Tisch (einer davon im Schatten). Der Gemeinschafts-Pool ist gross und es ist eigentlich nie besonders voll, man bekommt immer eine Liege (zumindest anfang September). Ganz in der Naehe ist alles was man braucht, ein kleiner Markt der Nachbar-Community, tolle Restaurants, einige schoene Straende (an denen es allerdings auch mal voller werden kann...) und Carvoeiro ist auch sehr nah, falls man mal etwas mehr Trubel haben moechte. Es gibt so viel zu tun und zu unternehmen und dafuer liegt das Haus perfekt. Wir koennen es nur waermstens empfehlen, die Betreuung durch Susie vom Management war ebenfalls super. Daumen hoch!!! Wir kommen wieder.
Susan has been fantastic throughout the booking and throughout our stay! The accommodation was amazing, we thought it was too good to be true but it really was as good as it looks on the pictures, if not better! It was a home from home, pool was a 2 minute walk away, gas BBQ was out of gas when we arrived but even though it was a bank holiday weekend, a new gas bottle was installed within 24hrs! We were able to watch Netflix through our own firestick, which was perfect for the kids! The Hot tub was lovely to sit in, in the evening looking at the stars with a glass of g&t! Local restaurants are all amazing, especially when ordering the fish. We had the local speciality catalpana from rocha mar on the corner (3 mins walk from accommodation) on the last night and it was out of this world.
Susie made booking easy and convenient. The villa offered everything (and more) that we wanted! Susie was very helpful, organizing a wine tasting for us. Unfortunately we did not meet her but we met her Portuguese assistant. We think that this is because we went out of season. The location was fantastic and quiet. Beaches nearby.
